Dance Advising

Current Dance Majors work closely with both the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences Advising Office and a Dance Advisor to ensure that they stay on track in their collegiate career and obtain their BA degree. Dance Minors work closely with both their College/Major Advisor and our Dance Advisor to complete their minor.

NOTE: The Bachelor of Arts (BA) with a major in Dance will not be accepting new students after August 26, 2022 as the Dance major is being phased out. Dance courses to complete a robust minor will continue to be offered. Students wanting to major in dance at UNT must apply and be admitted to the program by August 26, 2022 and will have until the end of Summer term 2028 to complete the major.
