Admissions

Admissions

Freshmen and transfer students gain acceptance by the UNT Admissions Office.

All students must meet with the department academic advisor before completing registration each semester. Advisors help with selection of courses, application of transfer credit, and general academic requirements, policies and procedures.

Theatre Auditions - The theatre program does not require entrance auditions.

Theatre Auditions for Season Productions - Auditions are open to current UNT theatre majors and minors. Auditions are held and shows are cast in the semester prior to performances.

Theatre: High school students should complete four years of English, math and social science, including economics, geography, government and history; three years of science and foreign language; and one year of fine arts courses, among other subjects. High School courses in theatre arts will help you prepare for a theatre major.
