Our UNT Dance program is proud to have seven dedicated faculty members who are not
only exceptional educators but also professional dancers actively engaged with studios
and companies throughout the DFW Metroplex. Our dance faculty approach movement and teaching from a variety of perspectives and
emphasize a kinesiological and somatic approach.
Our program currently offers a Dance Minor and a Studio Teaching Certificate.
We focus on the education of the whole individual in preparation for graduate programs.
Our Dance and Theatre Arts Building (DATH) has beautiful wood and sprung floors and
large rehearsal and classroom studios that can be converted into a performance venue.
Located off Bernard St.
Includes a break room for students to study, eat, and commune.
We offer faculty, guest artist, and student-led choreography and concerts as well
as commissioned choreography projects.
Our faculty and students attend and present work at the ACDA regional dance festival.
