Jake Blakeman is an Adjunct Professor of Drama at the University of North Texas, where he teaches Voice with a focus on the Miller Voice Method, shaped by influences from the Alexander Technique and Lucid Body practices. He holds an MFA in Acting from Brooklyn College and has built a career as an actor, director, designer, and coach. In the classroom, Jake emphasizes collaboration, curiosity, and creativity, encouraging students to discover their own unique voices while developing strong technical foundations. Beyond academia, he continues to create and perform in the DFW theater community, blending professionalism with a genuine enthusiasm for the art of performance.
