Amy Pedigo-Otto is the Costume Design Lecturer who holds an MFA in Costume Design for Stage and Film from New York University Tisch School of the Arts. In NYC, she has designed costumes for New York Classical Theatre, Ma-Yi Theatre Company, St. Luke's Theatre, 4th Street Theatre, The New York Musical Festival, Peccadillo Theatre, APAP Dance Festival, Estrogenius Dance Festival, Columbia Stages, Second Ave. Dance Company, New York Stage and Film, Hudson Guild Theatre, Studio 42, Firebrand Theory Theatre and Ars Nova. Locally, Mrs. Otto has designed costumes for Shakespeare Dallas, Water Tower Theatre, Plano Reparatory Theatre, and the Eisemann Theatre. Regionally, Mrs. Otto's designs have been featured at the Engeman Theatre, El Paso Opera, Alpine Theatre Project, Northern Stage, and Curtain Call Theatre. As a craftsman, Amelia's has created wings for Victoria Secret Fashion Show, headwear for the Rockettes, hats for the Met Opera and leatherwork for Glimmerglass Opera. Amelia has assistant designed for Broadway, Off-Broadway, Las Vegas, London, International Cruise Lines and National Tours.

In addition to her theatrical endeavors, Mrs. Otto has also worked on historical displays and films at the NYC African Burial Ground Museum and articles for New Yorker Magazine and Better Homes and Garden. She worked as assistant costume designer on award-winning independent films and tv shows such as Louie, The Americans, Ashes, When Harry Tried to Marry and Elementary. Amy has served academically at Sarah Lawrence College, Stella Adler Studios, the New School, Santa Rosa Junior College, St. John's University, and NYC's High School for Performing Arts. Recently, she worked in Dallas as a print photo stylist for Neiman Marcus, JCPenney, Mary Kay, and J. Hilburn.
