Summer and Smoke by Tennessee Williams
Directed by Susan Sargeant (WingSpan Theatre Company, Artistic Director)
University Theater
Performance Dates: April 11, 12, 13, 14, 2019
1st Rehearsal: February 18, 2019

First Stage Series: Lockdown by Douglas Craven
Directed by Amanda Surman (UNT Theatre Student)

1st Rehearsal: January 22, 2019

First Stage Series: The Book of Everything adapted by Ruchard Tulloch
From the novel by Guus Kuijer

Directed by Madison Armstrong (UNT Theatre Student)

All rehearsals for UNT theatre productions are held on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm & Sunday afternoon with the time determined by the director.

AUDITION PREPARATION:
Students must sign up for an audition slot on Sign Up Genius.

Students must bring a headshot/resume, complete an audition form, and prepare the requested audition material.

Audition Material - 2 contrasting contemporary monologues not to exceed 2 minutes with a slate.

Summer and Smoke: Saturday, Nov 17 from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
The Memory Project: Sunday, Nov 18 from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
The Book of Everything: Sunday, Nov 18 from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Lockdown: Monday, Nov 19 from 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm

CAST LIST POSTINGS WILL BE ANNOUNCED:
- Hard copy posted on Theatre Callboard bulletin board in the Studio Theater Lobby by 10 am Saturday, November 17th
- Electronic copy posted on the "Theatre Callboard" on the blackboard system by 12:01 am Saturday, November 17th

Please review the plays in the spring semester to familiarize yourselves with language and structure specific to each play. Should you be called back for Summer and Smoke, be prepared to use a US Southern Dialect.
