THEA 3351 Theatre Movement II Auditions
This course involves advanced study of movement to include intense physical preparation in solo, partner, and group experiences for theatrical work in movement exploration, contact improvisation, aerial work, circus skills, physical comedy, stunts, combat, and the creation of works of physical theatre for performance.
In the Spring 2017, THEA 3351 Movement II will meet Tuesday/Thursday in DATH129 from 2:00 pm to 4:20 pm and will be taught by Dr. Timothy Wilson.
Auditions to enroll in the class will be held on November 2, 2016 at 6:00 pm in DATH 129. Students must have taken THEA 2351 Movement I and audition. Enrollment is limited and priority is given to juniors/seniors.
Students will be lead through a series of activities/challenges to give a preview of the class expectations...the only prepartation will be to present a physical characterization of something interesting that you can do in 30 seconds.
